We've also lined up a highly experienced panel of speakers for you:

Come find out their predictions for the perfect marketing mix in 2014. Will social media play an even larger role or is it now just another paid channel? Is this the year of closed social networks or multi-channel marketing? Will clients truly reach the marketing nirvana of the "single customer view" and what will they do with it?

See you at Bisous, 9/F, LKF Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong from 6:30-9:30pm tomorrow!

Digital Marketing Predictions for 2014

Mark your diaries for our 81st Social Mixer on 22nd January, 2014. Sign up and see who else is coming via Facebook or MeetUp.

We all know the marketing trends: mobile, social, and big data are driving the agenda at the moment. But as we gallop into 2014 and the Year of the Horse, many questions arise:

- What strategies are senior marketers backing?
- How are they really investing their marketing funds?
- How are they changing to meet the needs of their rapidly evolving customers?
- What is the perfect marketing mix across all the customer touch points?
- What are their expectations from agencies, marketing partners and technology solutions providers?

Featuring a panel of senior marketers representing the range across corporate, B2B and consumer, this is your opportunity to learn from the horse’s mouth what strategies marketers are really going to commit to, and where they plan to place their ROI bets with their budgets.

This event is presented in association with the Digital + Direct Marketing Association Asia, a renewed and revamped industry association that brings together the best of the Asia Digital Marketing Association, the Hong Kong Direct Marketing Association, HK Social and other affiliate digital, mobile and marketing industry groups from around the region.

As we round off 2013, I wanted to personally thank you for being a member of the Web Wednesday community. It is your presence at our monthly gatherings, activity across our social media platforms and energetic support that drives me to keep this community growing and spend time sourcing good speakers from whom we can all learn.

Hong Kong’s Biggest Social Media Christmas Party “X'Mas Social 2013″ on 18 December

Ditch the santa costume, spark up your inner geek and come party with the tech entrepreneurs at Hong Kong's biggest Christmas party, "X'mas Social 2013".  A party initiated by Web Wednesday and co-organised by StartUps HK and their spin-off "Twitter Drinking HK", HK Social and Localiiz.

We've been inspired by the sad passing of "Tata Madiba", Nelson Mandela, to throw our differences to the wind - be it social media platforms (Facebook vs. Weibo), coding languages (Drupal vs. Wordpress), mobile operating systems (iOS vs. Android), sexual preferences, religious beliefs or tribal origins - to unite for Hong Kong's biggest 'social mixer' of 2013!

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” — Nelson Mandela

Come join us on Wednesday 18th December, 7:00pm - 10:00pm at PLAY, 1st Floor On Hing Building, 1 On Hing Terrace, Central, Hong Kong. The entrance fee is HK$100 which includes a standard drink. You can find Play Club on Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and YouTube. [Let's see if the geeks are worthy of Play's YouTube channel].

Sign up on Facebook, MeetUp or Eventbrite.
